About Me

This, weirdly, is the hardest part to write. How does one sum themselves up in a short blurb? I am a sarcasm-speaking, middle-aged, hot mess of a woman who loves family/framily first, food second, animals third, and other people last. I am a special educator nearing the end of her career (due to retirement, not the sarcasm listed above), who is just a little bit baffled at how that has happened. I am/was/am/was the mom of a boy named Noah, with bright orange hair and enormous blue eyes, who had the oldest soul I’ve ever encountered while living in the body of a child, and who passed away due to complications from various ugly and horrifying medical conditions. He is the inspiration for this blog, and he is what I will talk about most.

This blog is dedicated to all the jerks-who-I-adore who would just not leave me alone about writing a book. I am far too lazy for that kind of task, so you’ll just have to be satisfied with a blog.

I’ve chosen to keep comments on. Be gentle. Be kind. If you feel like being an asshole, just stop reading and walk away.

Me and the OHT, on our Rainbow Connection sponsored Wish Trip. December 13, 2015, eight-ish weeks before he passed away.
